Winter birthday

This card is inspired by two challenges. Then I saw a sketch from Sketchy Colors I thought about step card and the theme is from StampARTic - Winter Birthday Card. Sketchy Colors challenge let choose a colors from past challenges.  I tried to find with something blue :) I love blue. And I did. They had a challenge #23 - blue and lilac/purple. Perfect for me :o)
So here is the card. Whoopsi Daisy Designs offered a free digi image around Christmas. I didn't write down her name but she is adorable. And she suits on my card :o) I colored her digitally. Thousands of thanks to Whoopsi Daisy :o). The design paper is from Canon Creative Park. I like these blue and purple snowflakes. Paper flowers are from Fizzy Moon Festive Fun. The texts are also made in computer and then printed out. I just can't be without computer :o) I added some punched out snowflakes and few gems from Back to Basic Christmas and White Enamel Accent by Ranger. Love that stuff .o)

Money card

I don't like to give money as a gift but if it is what receiver wants then... I haven't made any money card in this year and I used same measurements that I always used 14,8 and 8 cm. After cutting all the pieces it hit me... ups, we don't have same money anymore, euros are much bigger. I hold my breath that it will be big enough. I was lucky. I just had to use an extra piece of paper to clue the sides of money pocket :o) I made two cards. I like how they turned out.
Paper with poinsettia's is made by me in computer and printed out and so are the sentiments. Red cardstock, Dovecraft Back To Basic Christmas gems, Uni-ball gel pen - gold, Spellbinders Lacey Circles (I got my self a Cuttlebug. Super happy about it). Simple and pretty .o)

Snow bear

I bought some new stamps and I just had to use one of them. I think the bear from Variostempel Teddy's is so cute for a Christmas card :o) Pattern papers are printed from Canon Creative Park web page - blue/lilac paper and snowflakes. Bear is colored with watercolor pencils. Snowflakes are punched with Heyda snowflakes large and small punches and covered with glitter. I love glitter on Christmas cards :o)  The border is punched with dp Craft border - Fence. Behind the Teddy is a vellum sheet and dotes made on them to look like its snowing.

Christmas ornament card

In every year around the Christmas time we have in our local Community Center a Christmas party to our older citizens. I decided to make them a little card to remember the event. I wanted to be something different then usual card so I did an ornament card. On one side it have a cute Christmas Mouse by Elizabeth O.Dulemba and on other side a little poem and date.
I really wish that I'd have a die cut machine :) To cut out 120 circles with scissors... And seems that I have to make some more cards. Organisers think that there are 60 participants but just in case it is better to have some extra card then someone don't get it.
The front and the back side of the cards are put together with foam tape. I cut narrow strips of tape and put it along the side so the golden string can be placed between two cards and around the side. The floral swirls are printed on the paper I added some clue and sprinkled it with glitter. The tinker on the mouse hat is covered with Ranger Glossy Accents. One sad thing happened that I couldn't count before making the cards. I put on the edges of the hat and the coat a white Enamel accents by Ranger but it run out before all the cards was done :( Now some cards have it and other are without. It is sad but I hope to get it more before the party :) On the photo has only some of the cards

Shabby Box

I bought some butterfly and flower stamps and wanted to try them out. It was the same day then I also bought a tape dispenser. It came on heavy cardboard box and I thought I may use the box for something else :o) 'Cause the box opened on the top I took it apart and made it to open on the side. I mean if it stand like following pictures it opens on top now. I thought to pimp it up with my new My Paper World "Flowers and Butterflies" stamps, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Broken China, My Paper World Paper-Soft-Color Lime Green, Nerchau 3D Glitter Liner and some green ribbon.  I have no idea for what I'll use the box. I just wanted to make it. I may too another which don't look so shabby :o)

B-Day Hat - easel card

I love making card then I know to whom it will go :o) This card went to my brother god-father. He turned 70, God-father, not my brother :o) He is a jolly man and by looking at him I wouldn't say he's 70.
With this card I went to my usual card making style: no expensive and fancy card making stuff, no punches, no stamps and inks, no design papers, just my loyal computer and scissors. Well, ok, I did use a 3D glitter liner and one brad :o) Papers are designed by me and the hat image is copied in Internet and altered a bit.
The card is made by the sketch from Hanna and Friends Challenge #118

Birds Christmas

Almost one and a half year I have been addicted of postcards (www.postcrossing.com). Thanks to Estonian Post, who reised postal fee almost double, I had to find my self a new hobby. My card mania will continue, but now I desided to make my own greetings cards. I have made them before too but most of the timed I forgot to photograph them before giving them away.
I have watched few months now others people handmade cards blogs and they make me gasp the air. How talented everyone are. It makes me want to join this world of beautiful hand made cards and lot of fantastic ideas and card making challenges. It seems so much fun.
So, here it is, my first card with what I'll participate in challenges :o) I don't no all the rules how and what I have to do so every direction and hints are welcome :o)
I'm not even sure can I participate in challenges 'couse the images are digitally coloured. My hands are not well so it is much easier for me to do coloring with my computer :( I hope it is ok.
To make this card I used: Coloring page images from http://www.supercoloring.com/pages/decorating-a-tree-for-the-birds/ and http://www.coloring.us.com/. Two different designer papers from Cart-Us Christmas Specialty Paper Pad and Dovecraft Funky Vintage Designer Paper. Tim Holtz Distress Ink Broken China. Pergamano Gel Pen - White. To add glitter I used atyouSpica Twinkling like stars! felt pens, Ranger Glossy Accents and Enemal accents - white and black. Bunces are made with unknown company two way corner bunch.
