It took some time but I finally finished 76 invitations. I'm so glad that I have cuttlebug :) These are actually very simple cards but it took so long to make them.
As usual, I made the background paper in computer and printed them out. Same was with the invitation text. Background of the text is similar to the front paper and is pasted on the back side of the tent card.
Inside of the tent is image of sky and clouds (also made digitally)
The circle window is cut with two dies of Nellie's multi frame's Round Lily. Then I got these dies, I had no idea what to too with dies which makes a little swirly holes on the paper. But it gives really cool lacy feel to the paper if it is used with other die. It looks so pretty :o)
Big butterfly is stamped with biggest butterfly from Sissix Hero Arts stamp & die-cut "Butterflies" and Nellie Snellen embossing ink on to watercolor paper and then heat embossed with Stampendous! gold EP. I like that distressed look which came due to the watercolor paper. Butterfly is colored with water based felt pens. I scribbled with them on to the acrylic block and used water brush. That is my favorite coloring method :o) Butterfly is hanged with clear thread into the cut out window.
Small butterfly is punched with Heyda's butterfly punch. To pop it out of the background, I draw outer lines with golden Uni-ball gel pen. And also added some gold to the word "Kutse" (invitation).
Liquid pearls are made with Stanger Pearl Maker - pearl gold.I wanted to make a bit different invitations then usual. The tent cards are quite popular among card makers but I think it is something new for the receivers.
I wish I could make something more onto the cards but it is too big amount cards to make them complicated.
I'll enter this card to following challenges:
