Green Christmas

Today started a new challenge at A&T Digital Design Challenge Blog. This time we want to see a Ribbon.
I truly hope that Christmas will be white this year :) But while I wait until rain turns to snow, I made a bright green Christmas card with new Horse Shoe and Rose digital stamp.

I apologise for bad photo. It's strange that color of the ribbon is wrong on it but every other color is right. The ribbon is actually very similar to the green paper. And card is very sparkly on real life. I wish I could capture it to the photo. I got an awesome tip from somewhere (I'm sorry, but don't remember from who) how to use Gelly Roll Clear Star glitter pen. Draw a little line with it and while it is still wet, smudge it with your finger. This way you get fantastic shine to your paper and you don't have any pen line. And it looks absolutely gorgeous.

The image is colored with Promarkers. Green rose looks a bit like cabbage but luckily it has pretty leaves so you can still understand that it is a rose :) I followed the sketch from Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge - Challenge 122.
