Daffodils in Teapot

Here is my last card for Beccy's Place as a guest designer of June. It was awesome month. I made so many cards. I used 7 out of 8  Beccy's new digis. I'm sure I'll use the missed image as well, and then I do, I'll share it all of you :o)

Because this image is so beautiful all by it self, I made hole card front of it. I used pre-colored image and printed flowers out two more times and made some 3D effect. Flower stemens are colored with atYouSpica glitter marker - Lemon. I added some Glossy Accents to the teapot's blue parts. And that's it - very simple and effective card front :o)

Card base is also quite simple. Lacy circle is a die cut from Spellbinders Nestabilites. Pattern paper is from Prima Botanical Collection. Sentiment is computer generated. Pearls are from Queen & Co. They was white, I colored them with Promarker China Blue. To assamble the roses was most time consuming. It's too fine job for my hands but I did it. I'm very proud of my self :) Roses was cut with Cheery Lynn Medium Rose die. Middle rose is colored with Broken China Distress ink. Yellow ones are colored with Memento Dandelion dye ink. Leaves are made with dbCraft punch and colored with ProMarker - Olive Green and atYouSpica - Melon. I don't know the name of the blue ink which is on the edges of card base layers. I think it is from Heyda but not sure.

You've probably understand already that it is an easel card. I just love this type of cards :) If you get enough of them, just say. I'll quit then... For short time... Maybe... Maybe not :o)

Bookmark

We have super easy challenge for you this week at Paper Makeup Stamps Digi Makeover Challange - It's Anything Goes (as long it has digi image on it).

As usual I leave everything on last minute (it's very bad habit) and on this last minute I got sick. So I'm super happy that we have such a easy theme this week :o) Between all this dizziness I managed to make a simple bookmark. Better then nothing :o) But I kind a like it :)

 I love digital design so no surprise that I pre-designed my bookmark in digitally. I draw a rough border of my bookmark, added a digi-paper behind it. Then made a simple rounded corner square with white fill and blue border on top of it and changed it opacity. On top of all is lovely digi named Melissa from Paper Makeup Stamps. I also added a name of the receiver and some good wished on the other side of bookmark. 

After that I printed everything out and colored the image with ProMarkers. Both sides of bookmark are cut with scissors. I added one extra piece of paper between both layers. It was sturdy enough without it too but it's even better now :) Edges are inked with TH distress ink Broken China.

I had lovely piece of salmon pink ribbon which I thought will be nice. And other ribbon was white, I colored it with ProMarker. Try to put some pearls on the ribbon while your head is dizzy. It's so much fun (not really). Pearls are from my stash. After everything was almost done I added some Diamond Stickles on fairy wings and some glossy accent on her classes. I colored around the edges of blue flowers with pink so it will mach the ribbon (I forgot to color flower on the other side, It's fixed now). Digi paper is from www.shabbyprincess.com set named Spontaneous Delight.

Daffodils in summer

Did you read my last post? If I get fired from my job I can go to work for a weather forecast :o) It rained on weekend and it still does. No sight of summer outside but I think my today's card looks like a summer (we can pretend that daffodils are summer flowers, right?)

This time I planned to make two cards for Baccy's Place but unfortunately I got sick. Earlier last week I needed a card with a flower bouquet and Beccy's latest digi was perfect to make it. Original image is most beautiful potted daffodils. I was so sure I can make a card to show this gorgeous digi as it is too but... I'm so sorry. You just have to go to Beccy's Place to see it. It's worth it :o) And you can buy this image on her shop ;)

Even though my card won't show this beautiful digi as it is, I'd still like to share it with you :o) As you can see, this digi is very versatile. I love to play with digis :o)
Flowers and butterflies are colored with Promarkers. All my butterflies are stamped and 5 of them are cut with Sizzix and Hero Arts stamp & die-cut set -  Butterflies. To make a background I started with white piece of paper and cut it with Marianne's Design Anja's Border die. I have it for a while now but haven't used it jet (don't know why, 'cause it's gorgeous). On one part of it I stamped some butterflies with Nellie Snellen's embossing ink and embossed them with clear embossing powder from SweetStamps.com. Then I inked both pieces of papers with Memento dye inks - Pear Tart and Dandelion. Sentiment is computer cenerated. I added some atYouSpica glitter mareker to flower stemens and on te edges of sentient and image border. Lace is from my stash.

Inside of the card is made as front but I stamped and embossed hole piece of paper and added a part of Anja's border. White ovals are cut with Sizzix Framelits - Oval with ornate edges die cut and yellow ones are handcut.

Hello Summer!

Today is the first day of summer. I hope I don't scare it off with my Christmas card :o)

We have two big holidays in Estonia - Christmas and St. John Day (midsummer day). We count our time through them. After Christmas we start to think to St.John Day, and after St.John Day Christmas is not far :o) I'm a bit early this year. St. John Day (actually 'jaanipäev' is much better name for that) is on this weekend. It's probably going to rain that day, it usually does.

Here is my card for Beccy's Place. I used her brand new digi. It's one of her Quilt Pudding set. It's adorable and so fun to color :o) I colored it with ProMarkers and green parts are colored with Stabilo point 88 pens (just because they have very tiny point and they are good to color little details). I added some dots with Pergamono white gel pen to berries and covered them with glossy accents. 

Ribbon, lace, red glitter string and button are from my stash. Pattern papers are digi papers from Computer Scrapbook Oakley 1 and 2. Sentiments are computer generated. I added some Diamond Sticles to here and there :o)

I used adorable digi named Arelia Fairy. She is such a pretty lady :o) I colored her with ProMarkers, atYouSpica glitter markers (on her jewelry and bags), Sakura Gelly Roll Clear Star (on her jewelry and handles of bags). Sentiments are computer generated. Pattern paper is from Apple Blossom Digital kit by Anita Bownds. I added some atYouSpica glitter marker - Lemon to the centers of blossoms.

 Cherry blossoms are die cuts made with Memory Box dies Cherry Blossoms. I inked their edges with Dovecraft Berry Purple pigment ink and colored stamen with glitter marker. I added some Queen & Co pearls in center of blossoms. Butterflies are stamped and cut with Sizzix and Hero Arts stamp & die-cut set Butterflies. They are stamped with Momento ink Tuxedo Black and colored with ProMarkers.

Fairy wings have to sparkle :o) I added lots of Diamond Stickles on them. And also dots of stickles to the cherry blossom stamen. Nr '70' on the tag is also covered with stickles. Tag is cut with scissors and the ribbon on it is from my stash.

You're the star

Unbelievable that making a male card can be so easy?! It's one of my fastest card from scratch to finish :) I blame the image from Beccy's Place :o) 

Aren't those stars awesome! I colored them with ProMarkers. Card base is from blue kraft cardstock. It is made from recycled paper. Sentiments are computer generated. Twine is from my stash.  Pattern papers are from Computer Scrapbook Essence 1 kit, tag and blue circle is from Essence 2 Elements kit. I also used the Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink to ink the edges. One very simple card :) And I love the outcome.

The reason why my post is so short today is that I had to schedule it before power goes off again. It's so windy, even my dog struggles to keep four feet on the ground :o) Power has been away two times today already, old plum tree is broken in half, beautiful long Irises are bashed to ground and wind is still very strong...

Lavander love

It's time to share another gorgeous digi from Beccy's Place. It is called Quilt Hearts set. It comes in many different versions - with patterned and simple hearts, colored and b&w line drawing. It is absolutely gorgeous set.

I used digi with simple hearts because I wanted to make some paper piecing. For that I used Computer Scrapbook digital papers - Babygirl and Tea on Tuesdays. Before printing the papers I changed their colors a bit more lilac.

White embossed paper is made with CraftConsepts embossing folder In Bloom. I left bottom part without embossing and made to score lines. In between the score lines I put a strip of soft lilac paper and lace on top of it. Edges of papers and embossing is covered with Dovecraft Berry Purple pigment ink. I added some Sakura Gelly Roll Clear Star on the lace and edges of papers. It gives a lovely delicate sparkle to everything, specially I like lace that way :o)

Pearls are Melssa Frances's Trinkets & Baubles collection. I re-colored them with Promarker (plum). 

As I said. All hearts are paper pieced out of different pattern papers. I cut them out with scissors and colored around the edges with atYouSpica glitter marker Black. 

I try to explain what I did with the hearts. I turned them over and shaped them with rounded cap pencil. Then turned them right side up again and scored the middle with embossing tool. It gives nice dimension to them. I clued them down on the middle. Added some faux stitching with Black glitter marker. The heart in the middle is popped up with dimensional tape and is covered with Glossy Accents. Stitches on the digi image are also covered with Gelly Roll Clear Star.

 Inside of the card is very simple. I used the same embossing folder. I only embossed top and bottom of the paper and made a score lines to give a nice finish to the embossing part. I love how it looks :o) Also added one heart inside of the card. 

The light dot on the heart is not made by me. It was on the digi paper. I love to make paper piecing with digi papers and images. With them it's easy to select the perfect part of the pattern :o)

Daring Adventure

This week at Paper Makeup Stamps Digi Makeover Challange we want to see spots. :o) Don't forget that you have to use any digi stamp along with all these spots. You can win three digi image from Paper Makeup Store, five, if you use Paper Makeup image.

My first vacation week very busy. Seems that I was able to make more things done on the evening of the work week than I'm doing right now :o) Anyway, I managed to make my card on time :o)

I used two digis Monster of a Gift and one sentiment. Image is colored with ProMarkers. Background paper is my made. I made some leopard spots on a green background and lots of polka dots on the top.

I didn't had any yellow ribbon or yarn, so I took white ribbon from around old candle box and colored it with ProMarker. It's perfect color match :o) I also colored some light green looped yarn with two different yellows.

The shape of the card is cut with scissors. Actually I pre-drawn it in computer and printed the pattern paper out with the same shape. This card is like a big tag.  The top part is clued together and it opens like shown on the following picture. It was so much fun to make it :o)

Hydrangeas

I'd like to share my second card for Beccy's Place as a guest designer of the month :o) I used her Hydrangea colored image. It is so pretty. Vivien, Beccy's designer, inspired me to great my own background from Beccy's digi. Check Viv's blog, you'll get inspiration overflow in there :)

This week I didn't had time to color the image. It's good that Beccy's digis come as b&w line image and also with colored version :o) I played with colored Hydrangeas in PhotoShop and made a bit old looking painted wooden blank thingy .... yeah... I have no idea what I said right now :o) Click to the pic to see it bigger, hopefully you understand what it is :o)

For main image I printed out two pre-colored images. From one of the I cut out blossoms and two leaves to make dimensional flower.

 Flower is matted on to cut out from largest Nestabilites Lacy Circle die. Background of it is tinted with Tim Holtz distress ink Broken China and Memento Pear Tart. Edges of all pieces are colored with Memento Desert Sand ink. Sentiment is computer generated and cut out with Memory Box Pastry Labels die. Pearls on top of it are from Melissa Frances Trinkets & Baubles. Yarn and soft lilac paper are from my stash. I added some sparkle with Nerchau Glitter Liner to the flower and Lacy Circle.

It's time to celebrate!!!

"Time..."

It's time to play another fun game with us at Paper Makeup Stamps Digi Makeover Challange :o) We have a Tic-Tac-Toe board for you this week. Pick 3 squares in a row and use those things on your creation. Just be sure to use a digi stamp. If you need one, Paper Makeup Stamps has a great collection of digi images that you can view here. You can win three digi image from Paper Makeup Store (five, if you use Paper Makeup image).

Jep, another easel card for me :o) I can't help my self, I just love those cards :o) I chose Bling, Gritter and Embossing. I did both, heat and try embossing :o)

Blue, red and white seems to be a trendy color right now, so I thought I'll give it a try. I think Drummer the Bear is perfect to go with these colors. I love the smile on his face. He seems so proud of himself :o)

Glock is Cart-Us Glock + Hands clare stamp. It is stamped with Nellie Snellen Embossing Ink Bad on to blue paper and heat embossed with Stampendious white embossing powder. All over the glock handle I made a little drops with Glossy Accents and after they dried, I colored them red.

Sentiment on front of the card is handwriten with VersaMarker Watermark pen and heat embossed with white EP. Red gems are from Dovecraft - Back to Basic Christmas.

For dry embossing I used my very old Fiskar's Mini-ShapeBoss Swirl plate. I haven't used it long time and thought it needs some attention from me :o)

I have a new love :o) Last week I ordered my first set of ProMarkers. Four days later they ware in my mailbox. That was fast. Thank you, Letraset! I love coloring with these markers. Thay give so smooth result and it's easy to color with them :o) On the red parts of bear's hat I added Glossy Accent and white lines are made with white Pergamano gel pen.

Pears and Roses

Hello everybody! This is my first card for Beccy's Place as a guest designer of the month :o) I'm so happy! 

I could use Beccy's newest digi - Pears and Roses. It's so gorgeous. It comes with b&w line drawing and also colored image. It's easy to use her colored image for quick card. But I love to color myself :o) 'cause I don't always understand where the shadows or highlight should be, I used her colored digi as a guide :o)

I made a recessed window card. As I said before, image is called Roses and Pears. I printed it out on to watercolor paper and colored it with water-base felt markers (scribbled on to acrylic block) and with water brush. On the roses I also used the atYouSpica glitter marker - Lemon, and some Diamond Stickles. Same Sticles are also on the edges of the image and sentiment.

Sentiment is made by me in computer. I added little bit of atYouSpica Melon for color. Base of the sentiment is cut with the smallest die from Spellbinder Nestabilities Lacy Circles. Little dots on the scallops are made with Uni-ball Signo silver gel pen. 

Then I print out the digi image, I always but two or three image on the sheet. So if I mess up coloring I have second image right by the side and I don't have to use another paper or try to figure it out where to print it on the same paper on the correct place. My coloring came out nicely on first attempt, so I had other image to cut a part :o) I colored roses again and cut them out. Two roses are popped up on the side of the sentiment and the middle one is popped up on the main image.

The lovely light green paper with green and silver swirls is bought long time ago from Tiimari (Finnish shop). Lacy borders are bunched with dbCraft border bunch - Fence. Border strips on the front side of the card are made with the same bunch.

Lucky card/girl

Who is the luckiest girl in the world right now? I am! :o)

I made this card to my mom for Mother's Day. Thanks to it, I'm now the Guest Designer of June in Beccy's Place. How awesome is that?! She has so gorgeous digis on her store and lots of digis are free on her blog :o)  Flowers on the card are also Beccy's designed. I am so honored to be her guest designer and I'll do my best to showcase her latest digis. I'm soooo happy :o) Hurray!!! 

And that's not all... I also won (chosen by randomly) three digis from her store on the same challenge. Am I lucky or what :o)

And that's still not all... I sound like a TV Shop :) With same card I won the Going Buggy May Challenge and got my self a Letraset MetallicMarkers set. Wow! So fantastic!

I'm so so happy that the card where I put all my heart in to it and made it with deepest love won so awesome prices. They are like gifts from my mom :o)

And there is more... :o) Today is my last day at work before vacation. I can dedicate my self for card making and if I have some time then travelling too :o)
