Pink Christams

I have no idea does this post goes public on time. Yesterday we went over to winter time. Then usually I'll schedule the PMS card on two o'clock afternoon, I think I have to schedule it now three o'clock. Unless people in USA moved their time too... I don't know. Let see what happens :)

Can you guess what is the theme for this week? No, it's not an easel card, nor Christmas card with nontraditional colors. This week at Digi Makeover Challenge we want to see lots of layers. You have six days to make your card or any other project with lots of layers and digi image.

I haven't made any easel card for a while and I missed it :) Easel cards are just so fun to make. Snow outside reminds that Christmas is not far and I think I don't have enough Christmas card made, so here it is, another Christmas card. This time it is a pink one.
I used lovely Penelope as my main image. She is colored with Promarkers and I added some stickles too her wings and to the wreath. Because I also used digital designer paper, it was easy to place Penelope on top of the paper and that saved me from lots of fuzzy cutting. I just had to cut some parts of her wing and dress.

I used Martha Stuart's all around edge punch witch is probably more suitable for spring and summer cards, but I don't care :) I like it. I also added a pink flower lace. Lots of flowers on one Christmas card :) Lace is clued to the piece of pink paper and it is popped up with foam tape. Same with sentiment. I also did some faux stitching with white gel pen and some liquid pearls here and there.

Materials used:
Stamps: Paper Makeup Store -
Penelope
Papers:  Freebie from Design House Digital - Agnes Biro Flower Of Naturalness; White and hot pink papers from my stash
Ink:  Printer
Coloring: Promarker; Pergamano - White Gel Pen
Punches: Martha Stewart Around the page set - Flower box
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilites - Standard Circles Larges and Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Sentiment: Computer generated
Embellishments: Ranger Stickles - Crystal; Stanger - Pearl Paste; Lace from my stash

Three simple cards

Greetings from snowy Estonia.  I have some spring cards to share with you :) But something else first...
Yesterday morning it was nice Autumn day. A bit chilly (+4o C) and it didn't rain. I thought it is good time to replace my car summer tires to winter tires before the snow. I contacted with car service and they said I can bring my car to them on Friday one PM. Now I know that I should go there a day earlier. On afternoon it started to snow.  It's not fun at all to drive with summer tires on slippery road. Luckily I got home safely. I hoped that by the morning, snow is gone. But no. It kept coming all night and morning, then I started to drive back to work, snow fall went so heavy that it was hard to see the road. I usually drive to work less then 10 minutes, today it took 20 minutes. But at least I got there in one piece :)
I'm very please with my car service. On 9.30 a man from there came to my office and said: "May I have your car keys, I'll go change the tires for you?" What an excellent service! I don't have to worry about a thing :) Joy of living in a small town. So by the time I should have drive my car to the service, I had it back already.

Ok, now to the main reason why I made this post. If you follow Beccy's Place you know that yesterday she shared a big set of new digis. The Sentiment Mini Set contains 20 images, each with it's own little sentiment in plain text below the image. I used only images because I don't need much cards with English text on them.

Sparkling holiday notes

Hi, my sweet friends! I think I was a bear in my previous life. I just want to go to bed and sleep until spring comes. I've felt like this since Friday. Most saddest is that I haven't watch my friends inspiring blogs because of it. I'm so tired of feeling exhausted.

Somehow I was able to finish my this week project for Digi Makeover Challenge. The theme of the week is: Weather Report.

I used lovely  Hayden Fairy on my post-it note holder. I also printed her to designer paper and I took some snowflakes from the same stamp and pasted them to the sentiment layer. Lots of sparkle is added to her wings, her outfit and snowflakes with stickles. Faux stitching is made with glitter pen. And I also covered waves with same glitter pen.

Ribbon is bought from fabric store. I like its candy cane pattern and color is perfect to my lilac project. Upper part of the ribbon is folded below the paper but bottom of the ribbon was too thick for that. It is cut as wide as paper and I added Glossy Accents to both sides of the ribbon. This way it won't fall a part.

I added part of the digi stamp to the sentiment layer in inside and changed it color to lilac. Waves are covered with glitter pen and snowflakes are covered with stickles. Post-it note pad is inked with distress ink and I draw some sparkling stitching to it too.

Materials used:
Stamps: Paper Makeup Store - Hayden Fairy
Papers: Bearly Mine Design - Winter Swirls, White and lilac papers from my stash
Ink: TH Distress Ink - Faded Jeans & Milled Lavender; Printer
Coloring: Promarker - Satin, Blush, Dusky Pink, Sandstone, Caramel, Cocoa, Burnt Sienna, Black, Powder Blue, Cool Aqua, Lavender, Fuchia Pink, Plum, Blender; Gelly Roll - Clear Star
Sentiment: Computer generated
Embellishments: Ranger Stickles - Diamond; MaiFlower - Stick On Gems Clear Crystal; Ribbon from my stash

Candy Canes

My dear followers have probably noticed that I love to make Christmas cards :) Here is another one. I used Beccy Muir's new digi called 'Candy Canes'. If you buy her digis you'll get line art image and also pre-colored image. I love to color her digis but this time I needed a quick card so I used her colored image. I just added some stickles to the ribbon and Glossy Accents to the berries.

Sweet Christmas!
Those candies looks so delicious. I truly wish I could buy them in Estonia too. I got them several years ago in England and I want more :)
Anyway... The card is very simple. I just embossed the background, matted it to self colored red paper, added few more layers and some gems. I followed the sketch from Friday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 28. Inside of the card is similar, except I embossed the strip of paper instead of the background layer.

Go over to Beccy's Place to see more cards made with this beautiful image. And you still have time to join the monthly challenge too. All you have to do is use Beccy's digi image on your project.

Materials used:
Stamps: Beccy's Place - Candy Canes

Winter birthday with roses

I'm back with another card and super easy challenge: 'Anything goes' at A and T Emerald Faeries Challenge Blog. You have two weeks to participate and share your project with us. I made a winter birthday card.

Congratulations!
First time I saw Memory Box Flowering Christmas Tree Die, I knew I have to have it. It looked so beautiful. Now I finally got it and I'm in love. It is even more fantastic then I thought it will be. I just had to use it, even though I made a birthday card :) So I cut it a part and no one can tell that actually it is a Christmas tree.
As my main image I used a new 'Spring roses with butterfly' digital stamp. It is colored with Promarkes and I added some lots of stickles to it and some to butterfly wings as well.

On front of the card I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday - Week 229 and inside is a bit simpler version of it. I don't no what's wrong with me. I don't think much of roses but I absolutely love them on winter and Christmas projects. Strange, I know, but I can't help my self :o)

Pears and Mistletoe

A friend of mine asked 5 post-it notes holder for Christmas. This is second so far. Three more to make. On this one, I used brand new Beccy Muir digi called Pears and Mistletoe. I'm so lucky to be able to use beautiful images on my projects :)

Sent: "May the Christmas miracle be with you now and always!"

Did you knew that Mistletoe berries are white? I was so sure that they are red. After googleing I'm very confused. Most of the pictures they are white. On some images they are red. Are there both colors berries then? I'm so silly. I've never seen any Mistletoe on real life.
Image is colored with Promarkers and I added some Glossy Accents to the berries. Ribbon I used was all white. I wanted some color to it and colored the edges with 'Burgundi'. Gems are also recolored, with 'Pear Green' . I followed the sketch from Delightful Sketches.
First page of the note pad is inked with pigment ink and I added some glitter too of course :)

Sent: "Beautiful Holidays!"

CAS Silhouette card

Today starts a new challenge at PMS Digi Makeover Challenge. We wish to see how you use a silhouette.

For me, it is a difficult topic but it is a  perfect chance to make a clean and simple card. I couldn't figure out, for which occasion it would be suitable, so the sentiment just says "For you!". The text is printed directly to the card base.

I printed out two digis from Faith, Hope, Love set. One for front of the card and other to inside. On first image I made a little square mask and inked the paper with red and yellow ink. Image to the inside of the card I just inked on one corner. Both layers are matted to the black paper and pasted to the card. I also made embossed frame around the matted layers. And added few rhinestones to finish the card.

Now it's your turn to share your creation. But before you'll go to make your card (or other project), please, take a look to my teamies blogs. They will stun you! Upload your project with digi image to PMS Challenge blog before October 21st and you can win 3 digis on your choice from PMS Store (5 if you use PMS digi on your winning project).

Materials used:
Stamps: Paper Makeup Store -
Faith, Hope, Love set

Papers: White paper and black papers from my stash,

Daisies

Good evening my sweet friends! Here is my latest card I made for Beccy's Place. I used her brand new image 'Daisies'. It is so pretty!

Did you noticed that I didn't used any glitter? It don't happen often that I'm able to keep my fingers off from stickles or glitter pens or anything shiny. I had a big battle with myself though...
And I didn't used any embellishments at all... I think the image is so beautiful and background is quite busy, anything else would be too much.
As you can see, my card is very simple. Just some designer papers, beautiful digi stamp, Promarkers to color, white gel pen and lots of piercing :)
I followed the sketch from The Sketchy Challenges - Challenge 33

Inside of the card

Take a look to Beccy's Place to see more samples made with these pretty flowers. And please join the monthly challenge too. All you have to do is use Beccy's digi image on your project.

I used lovely Isabella on my card. She is colored with Promarkers and I also added stickles to her and butterfly wings.

Breast Cancer Awareness

I'm sure you all know that October is a Breast Cancer Awareness month. Therefore we have a suitable challenge for you at PMS Digi Makeover Challenge: Think Pink - Breast Cancer Awareness.
Paper Makeup Stamps decided to put out a stamp set in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. A portion of all sales from this set will go to the Susan G Komen Foundation for breast cancer research. This digi set includes 4 word arts and 2 fabulous images. You can purchase this set here.

I wanted to try something new and made a shaped twisted easel card.I used Madelyn, The Praying Fairy digi stamp on my card. She is colored with Promarkers. Then I thought about sentiment, I really loved one from new Breast Cancer Awareness digi set "We don't know how strong we are, until being strong is the only choice we have" but I needed it in Estonian. So I made it myself.

Because the message of the card is very powerful, I kept the card design quite simple - just few pretty papers, some pearls and flower and lots of stickles. I placed foam tape under fairy wings so they wouldn' be flat. This is first time I made semi-faux stitching: I poked the holes and draw stitching lines with white gel pen. It looks quite real.

Materials used:
Stamps: Paper Makeup Store -
Madelyn, The Praying Fairy
Papers: KaiserKraft - Miss Nelly; White paper and sparkling lilac paper from my stash,
Ink: Memento - Angel Pink; Printer

Coloring: Promarkers
Dies:Spellbinders Nestabilites - Standard Circles Larges  and Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Punch: Heyda - Small leaf
Sentiment: Computer generated

Embellishments: Ranger Stickles - Crystal, Queen & Co - white pearls (colored with Promarker - Cerice, added some stickles on top); Flower is gift from My Crafty Heart (added some pink with Promarker - Cerice and stickles on top); MeiFlower - White satin ribbon (one piece is colored with Promarker - Blossom)

I'd like to participate on following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 237 - Lots a ribbon
Totally Papercrafts - Challenge 137 - Lets see those shapes
Sentimental Sundays - Challenge 123 - Anything goes with sentiment
Link Up for the Pink  - Link up for the pink

Snowman fence

Evening everyone! To you wantbto see most fantastic winter image? Go over to Beccy's Place Store and you find it from there. Snowman Fence is so brilliant. It is just so fun. I wish to have a similar fence so I could decorate it with clothes and other things to make it look like a snowman parade :) Absolutely love this stamp! On original image has a text on it. It suits on it very well but it's in English. Sadly I had to delete it from my card. But then I'll make similar card to my English speaking friend, I'll definitely keep this jolly text :)

Lots of joy and smiles for Christmas and also for next year!
As you can see, the card is very simple. Just some designer papers, one hole and lots of stickles :) I used digi papers, so it was super easy to paste the image on top of the paper and print it out. That way I could skip the detail cutting :) After printing, I colored the image with Promarkers.

On the inside of the card I also used the same digi stamp. It is just so awesome! The moon on one of the papers was perfect to put the sentiment on. It is made by me, digitally of course. All blue papers are colored with China Blue Promarker.

Go over to Beccy's Place to see more samples made with this fabulous Snowman Fence digi. And please join the monthly challenge too. All you have to do is use Beccy's digi image on your project.

Materials used:
Stamps: Beccy's Place - Snowman Fence
