Welcome
to Sparkle N Sprinkle's December 1 Reveal.
This month we are bringing you a pretty new stamp
set by artist Beccy Muir with
FIVE chances to win.
The first chance is in our "Beautiful Geraniums" Release Contest
The first chance is in our "Beautiful Geraniums" Release Contest
and four more chances with the SNS monthly challenge where the monthly theme is always "Anything Goes with Glitter, Embossing Powder
and/or Flocking."
The Geranium stamp set is available on line or is included in Jazzy Jill's Technique Video for the month.
This set is amazing. You can make cards for all occasions with it.
As you can see, I was in sparkly mood. I used four colors of Microfine Velvet Glitters on it and did some color mixing with them. If you are interested of full directions you can read them in here.
I used Luau Green Velvet Glitter, Luau Green and Goldenrod glitters mixed together, Goldenrod VG, Goldenrod and Tiger Orange glitters mix and Tiger Orange Velvet Glitter on top and bottom parts of the card front. It will give really nice and sparkly color gradient. On the center I used Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter. Here are some close up photos to show its lovely sparkle.
Flower outlines are stamped with VersaMark ink on top of the glitter and heat embossed with Black Detail embossing powder. Then I masked the image and repeated it two times. Flowers that was on top of the white glitter was colored with Promarkers. You have to be careful because EP may smudge the colors.
I used clear rhinestones and colored them with matching marker. Sentiment is satmped with Black Staz On ink.
I forgot to say that all the glitter is attached to a Sticker Paper. Just tear the protective sheet off from the part you want to add glitter and have fun :) Sticker paper is matted to the black cardstock. And this panel is attached to the card base. Perfect card for mailing in an envelope.
The Geraniums stamp set, one glitter and one EP will be awarded to
one commenter.
