Celebration

Hello my friends. It's new week and it's time for a new Digi Makeover Challenge at the Paper Makeup Stamps blog. This week it all about Celebration: any celebration - birthday, graduation, new baby, new home, marriage, anniversary, etc as long your project as a digi image on it.

Kirsten Fairy is something I've wanted to use a  long time. She is so lovely sitting on the grass and blowing the dandelion seeds. It's way to early for dandelions jet but I couldn't wait the summer to use her. So I decided to put a cherry tree beside her to make the card look a bit more like spring :)

Sentiment: May all your Birthday wishes come true...
Then I print out digis I usually print two of them, just in case if I mess up the coloring, I have second copy of the image ready to color. After coloring the image, I didn't like the color of her shirt and leg warmers. I was too lazy to color other image all over again so I just colored her shirt and legwarmer again, cut them out and clued them in place. Like a paper piecing :)
I love to follow the sketch while making my card. This is the first time I use two sketches on same card. These sketches are almost the same :)

Animal Friends

Hello my friends! Hope you had lovely weekend. I'm so happy that spring is finally here. Snow is gone and ice drifted away from the river. It is so strange that Snowdrops, Spring Snowflakes and Hepatica are blooming in the same time. They are all beautiful, so better late then never :)
It is a new week, that means a new challenge at the Paper Makeup Stamps blog. This week it's all about Animal Friends. And don't forget to use a digi image on your project.

I used lovely Olive the Otter on my Birthday card. Image is colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I also added stickles to the frosting of the cupcake and Glossy Accents to the heart shape cherry and Olive eyes and nose. Stickles are also added to the resin flower and panel behind otter. Resin flower was pale pink at first but I recolored it with Flexmarkers.
I made also made some faux stitches on the card. I made small holes with paper piercer and draw white wonky stitches with white gel pen.

I wanted to make a birthday card but after finishing, it looks a bit like Christmas card. I hope it's only me who thinks so. All the glitter and this frame die cut reminds me Christmas.  Oh boy... Snow just melted and I'm thinking already about Christmas. Bad thoughts, go away! I need sunshine, warm weather and lots of green around me and of course colorful flowers...

Inside of the card is very simple (at least this time I got it done). I clued the strip of the same designer paper inside and the same cupcake as Olive is holding in front of the card.

Victory Kid

Hello my friends. Never say never. I'm eating my own words now. On Tuesday I told that I'm not going to use a black paper any time soon. Here I am braking my promise. I thought I'll give a black another chance. I'm glad I did.

This card is going to a 10 years old boy. I didn't used much embellishments. Only three paper buttons which are covered with Glossy Accents. I also did some Glossy Accents dots to the card. Papers and buttons are same digital paper and embellishment collection. Original buttons was round but I cut them with die which had reversed scallops.

If you look closer, you can see some light tens on the background of the boy. It is made digitally before printing the image out. Blue 10 is covered with Glossy Accents.
I love using digi papers because I can make digital stitching on them. Fishtails of banners are made with square punch, except  the matting layers. They are hand cut.

Inside of the card has a pocket.

Materials used:
Stamps: Kenny K - Victory Kid

Papers: Computer Scrapbook - California Cool; blue and black papers from my stash

Butterfly

I just noticed a half finished blog post from last week. Looks like I've missed several challenges where it was supposed to participate. Card making is fun, I can even do the photos but uploading it to blog is really difficult every time... Oh well... Here it is, my pink and black birthday card.

Black card-stock is something I don't use much. And probably don't use any time soon. I had great planes with it. I wanted to make a colorful embossed butterfly with two embossing powders. Everything was perfect until I heated it - pink disappeared on black. That was sad. So I made a die-cut butterfly instead. And on top of it I put acetate butterfly. Acetate is colored with Promarker.
Flowers on half circles are embossed with clear EP and after that I inked the paper with pink ink. Flowers on main panel are stamped with distress ink and after that heat embossed with clear EP.

Inside of the card has a pocket. All sentiments are computer generated.

Materials used:
Stamps: Sizzix Framelits w stamps - Butterflies #3

Papers: Pink designer paper, white and black papers from my stash.
Coloring: Promarkers

Inks: Versamark embossing ink; Memento - Angel Pink, Tuxedo Black; TH Distress ink - Milled Lavender

Birthday tea party

Hello my sweet friends. Looks like spring is almost here. Snowdrops ware finally able to brake through the snow and are blooming. Storks are here, I feel sorry of them. They don't have much to eat. It is still cold and frogs are sleeping.
Anyway... It's Monday! That means it is time for a new challenge at the Paper Makeup Stamps. This time we want to see Girly Girls

I used sweet Ally digi stamp from Paper Makeup Stamps. She is colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I added some stickles to her wings, hear band and doll wings and Glossy Accents to the tea pot and the cup.
The round sentiment in front is freebie from Nettie's Cards blog. She has lots of beautiful sentiment digis. They all are in English but 'cause I needed one in Estonian, I changed the text.

Now take a look to PMS challenge blog and visit very talented Digi Makeup Artists to see their girly cards.. You have until Sunday to link your card in there. Remember to use a digi image.

Birthday Ahoy!

Hello my friends. It's Monday again and that means it's time for a new challenge at the Paper Makeup Stamps challenge blog. This week it's all about water.

I'm very happy about this theme because water = blue and blue is my favorite color :) The boy with ship is Dylan. I colored him with Promarkers and Flexmarkers.
I haven't made any digi paper for a long time. So I decided to play with it. I made a wavy chevron pattern and put several sail boats from PMS Sailing By set on top. Actually I made a brush from this boat. That way was really easy to cover all background with them.

Sentiment: Congratulations
As usually, I kept the inside of the card very simple.

You are so special

Hello my friends! Today I'd like to share with you a white card. I thought a long time do I even want to share it. I just don't like how this card shows on the photo. I need a better camera and/or light, but mostly photographing skills. The card is much prettier on real. Oh well... But here it is...

Sentiment: You are so special
Decorative border around embossed layer is made with straight border punch. I just clued four strips together to form a rectangular frame. Sentiment is self made in computer and after cutting it out I put it in front of Pastry Label die-cut. I just had to put some liquid pearls on the card too. It's hard to see them on the photo bacause af all those embossed dots :)

Lighthouse

Go over to the Paper Makeup Stamps challenge blog because there is one easy challenge for you this week. It's Anything Goes.

I love cards with scenes created with different stamps but sadly my collection of rubber stamps is very poor. So I played with digis. The lighthouse is from PMS Sailing By set, sea and mountains are free coloring page I found in Internet and trees are digital brushes from Obsidian Dawn blog. I erased the tropical trees from the sea image and replaced them. I also added the sun and some birds. I printed two copies of the final image, one of the was cut a part to use it as a mask while inking the image. Most of it is colored with inks and sponges, but lighthouse and trees and also some shading of the sun is done with ProMarkers and FlexMarkers. I added some highlights to the waves with white gel pen.

White card base didn't seemed right. Because I didn't had gray paper I inked it with black in ink. That is much better :) I also added some blue to the wooden background with ink.

Take a look what my team mates has done this week. I'm so happy to work with so talented ladies.

Materials used:
Stamps: PMS -
Sailing By set

Coloring: Promarkers, Flexmarkers, inks, Pergamano - white gel pen
Inks: TH Distress Inks - Broken China, Faded Jeans, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo; Memento - Pistachio, Lady Bug, Dandelion, Tuxedo Black
Papers: S.C.R.A.P - Wooden backgrounds; White paper and vellum from my stash
Dies:
Spellbinders - Label two
Embellishments: Brads from my stash; White twine (colored with Champagne Flexmarker) from my stash

I'd like to paticipate on following challenges:
Simon Says Stamps Challenge - Anything goes
Milk Coffee Challenge - Anything but square (I'm not sure is rectangle card is ok. Feel free to remove it from the contest if it's not suitable)
Floral Fantasies - Inspiration from Brenda's blog (I really love Brenda's stamped scene cards. Sadly I don't have many rubber stamps, so I made a scene with digistamps and digital brushes)

Thanks for looking!

Spring is coming

Good morning my friends. This is my last card as a Beccy's Place designer. Last six months has gone so fast. It was so much fun to play with all Beccy's new digis. I'll promise this is not the last time you see me using her digis. Go check Beccy's Place because she have a new DT and it is Awesome!

This time I made a step card. Beccy's bicycle is so pretty, I just had to make a outdoor scene. I have this nice grass die for long time but I've never used it. Now I had a perfect chance. I didn't had time to color, so I used Beccy's pre-colored image. In this set are actually three bicycles. Clouds behind the bike are made with distress ink.

Materials Used:
Stamp: Beccy's Place - Bicycle set
Inks: TH Distress ink - Broken China; Memento - Pistachio
Papers: Bearly MineDesigns - Summer Roses; White, green, yellow papers from my stash
Dies: Spellbinders Shapeabilities - Foliage,  Back To Basics Tags; Spellbinders Nestabilites - Standard Circles Larges; Memory Box Die - Grassland Border
Embellishments: Ranger - Glossy Accents

I'd like to participate on following challenges:

Charisma Cardz - Challenge 12 - Happy birthday
Milk Coffee Challenge - Anything but square
