CAS Love and Kisses

Hello my friends! I hope you had a very merry Christmas. Next big holiday after New Year is a Valentine's Day. I have a clean and simple card idea for you.

I used Love and Kisses #676  digi version DIGI676 on my card. Image is colored with Promarkers.
The black decorative strips on both sides of the image is punched with Martha Stewart Flower box punch. I hided most of the border behind the image layer

I added some Cloud Nine Glitter to the girl dress and shoes.

Sentiment is also from digital set. I used single clear heart rhinestone as the embellishment. It was colored with red marker.

Matting layers are cut/punched from white cardstock. I colored the edges with black marker. Edges of the rectangular layer are covered with 1/8" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape and punched edge is covered with  Brushable Glue. Black Suede Glitter was added to both of them.

Sparkling Christmas wishes

Hello my friends! It's only eleven days to Christmas. Probably you are well prepared and finished all your Christmas cards. But if you need to make few more, I have a simple card ideas for you. They look much more time consuming then they actually are.

Here's the first card. I placed several branches from the Toyland Bear #674  set to the front panel and rotated them as needed to fill left side diagonally.

I inked entire panel with Versamark ink and covered it with Stickum Powder. After heating it with heat tool I immediately added Sparkling Snow glitter on top.

The pine braches look so nice and sparkly with coat of glitter.

I kept the Poinsettia clean to let the background shine. Some branches was fussy cut and tucked behind the flower.

I changed the placement of the words in the sentiment and printed it out to the White CS. The sentiment layer is adhered behind the flower and fussy cut branches.

My second card is basically the same but the sentiment is printed to the front panel.

On both cards, main panels are matted with red layers. Their edges are covered with 1/8" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape and Cherry Sparkle Sparkle N Soft.

The front panel on this card looks much more frosted. It's because I used two layers of  Stickum Powder and Sparkling Snow glitter.

I hope you got few ideas for your Christmas card. Full directions of my first card is in the Sparkle N Sprinkle Gallery.

Materials used:
Stamp Credits: Toyland Bear #674  digi version DIGI674
Embossing Powders: Stickum Powder (EP300)
Glitters: Sparkling Snow (G1003)
Flocking: Cherry Sparkle (SS100)
Dies: Creative Exprsssions (Classic Poinsettias); Memorybox (Elegant Scrollwork);

Last month the winner came from April's blog.  Wonder which Designer contains the Grand Prize winner this month?

I used Toyland Bear #674  digi version DIGI674 on my card. It's perfect stamp set for Christmas.

I have seen fantastic 3D cards in the internet. I made one by memory. My memory failed. These cards are made slightly different. Originally the bottom part should be all in one piece. But my verion works as well :)

Images are colored with Promarkers. I used Distressed Embossing Powder Technique to distress the circle and all the pattern papers. I added Sparkle EP and Goldenrod Glitter to the toys behind the Teddy. Christmas card needs some sparkle.

Snowflakes are covered with SNS Brushable Glue and Sparkling Snow glitter.

On following image you can see how nice the ball is with added sparkle and shine. The berries on top of the branches are covered with Dimensional Glue and nothing else. Then it dries it will turn clear and shiny.

There wasn't enough bling so I added some Mon Ami Gabby Diamond Mesh to the card. It's adhered with 1/4" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape and rest of the revealed tape is covered with  Goldenrod G.

Full instructions of how to make this card is on the SNS Gallery.

Hanging picture frames

It's hard to believe that November is almost ending. Today I want to share a simple project I made from empty cereal box. Its cardboard is fantastic for die cutting simple shapes. It was made in early Autumn but if you use red and green and some Poinsettias, it would be lovely Christmas gift.

All frames are cut with largest and 3rd largest dies from Label Two set. I covered frames with VersaMark ink and some embossing powders. I used Hit the Beach, Green Apple and Magic Speckle EPs.
On the photo in first frame is my cat soon after hi came to our home. He looks very proud while sitting on top of the aquarium.

It would have been wierd to show empty frames so I something to each frame. On secon frame is a digital version of Sunflower stamp set. Image is colored with markers. I like this sentiment and the sunflower image inspired me to decorate the frames with same flowers.

Sunnflowers are made with dies from Blooms Four set. They are cut from white cardstock and inked with Scattered Straw and Dandelion inks. I shaped them with stylus and adhered together. For flower centers I cut small circles out of brown cardstock and adhered hem to flowers. They are covered with  Dimensional Glue and Bronze Splendor glitter.
Leaves are cut out from Sticker Paper with Sprigs die. I covered them with  Lator Gator and Luau Green glitters.

To attach all three frames together I used approx. 80 cm long white twine. I colored half of it with light green marker and made a twisted cord. You can see the cord slightly better on previous photos.

Each frame is made from following layers (starting from bottom):  Cardboard label (third image on the template), twisted cord, brown cardstock label (3rd image), Cardboard picture nest (2nd image), Acetate label and frame (1st image)
Full instructions of how this project was made is in the SNS Gallery here.

Holiday Greetings

I have a big news to share. This also explains why I have been very quiet for several months. I bought a house. It took entire summer and few extra months to fix the place up. All the remodeling is still not done but last weekend I moved in. My room is filled with unopened boxes and I'm not very sure where my card making supplies are. It takes some more time until I can get crafty again.
Here is a last card I made in my previous home. Some of my stuff was already packed so this card is very simple.

As always on first Sunday of the month it's time for a new challenge at the Stamping Sensation. This time we want to see a Christmas Project with stamping.
Our sponsor is fabulous Little Claire. They offer £35 store voucher. You should definitely go and check their website. It's so inspiring.

I got an idea to make this card from Paula. Her card is so pretty.
I started with stamping the tree from Katzelkraft Arbres hiver set with StazOn ink to the right side, made a snow hill mask and stamped two more trees to the left. I covered trees with masking fluid and let it dry. Moon mask was die cut with circle die, I also saved the negative part of the cut. After all the masks was placed and dry, I started to ink the sky. I used Memento Summer Sky and Tuxedo Black, and Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress inks.

To color the moon I placed the negative mask slightly off-set and inked it with Tuxedo Black ink. I also put some water drops on top to add the texture.
Sentiment is from Holiday Foliage stamp set.
Most time consuming about this card was to wait until liquid mask was dry and to rub it off later. I also added some Sparkling Snow glitter to the trees with Sakura Glue Pen and to the snow hill with SNS Brushable Glue.

I know you can do better and make your project look more Christmas then just winter. Go visit also my talented teamies to get inspired.

I don't know where my notepad with supply list is, so I try to remember what I used on this card:
Stamps: Katzelkraft - Arbres hiver;  Sparkle N Sprinkle - Holiday Foliage
Inks: StazOn - Jet Black; Memento - Summer Sky, Tuxedo Black; Distress Inks - Broken China, Faded Jeans
Dies: Spellbinders - Standard Circles Large
Cardstock: White, Grey
Embellishments: Sparkling Snow glitter, Silver twine
Other: Artcoe masking fluid; Sakura Glue Pen; SNS Brushable Glue; Foam tape

Thank you for the visit!

Beautiful Friendship

One of my latest favorite card fold is Double Zig Zag. They are fabulous with three panels but this time I only made two panels to fold.

I used two coordinating pattern papers to decorate the card base. Edges of the green paper are inked with Peeled Paint and yellow paper is inked with Scattered Straw Distress inks.

I love new Beautiful Friendship stamp set. These flowers are gorgeous and sentiments are so lovely. All the stamping is done with Tuxedo Black ink and all images are colored with Pro- and FlexMarkers. Flower cluster is stamped two times. On first I colored the leaves and on second I colored the flowers. Flowers are fussy cut and popped up with foam tape.

Instead of using third pattern paper to decorate the card base, I made my own glitter paper by using
Glittered Lacy Backgrounds technique. Daisy and Luau Green glitters are fantastic together.

I used strips of Mon Ami Gabby Diamond Mesh to embellish my card. Gold Diamond mesh is used in front and Green inside of the card. In two first panels I covered revealed tape with Luau Green glitter.

Butterflies are cut with dies from Cheery Lynn Design Mini Dimensional Butterflies set. Solid butterflies are cut out of white CS and colored with marker. Top parts of the butterflies are cut from Sticker Paper. I colored back side with light blue marker. The color goes through the paper and adds some tone. Sticky side is covered with Waterfall glitter.

Punched border inside and Floral Ovals are cut out of Sticker Paper. They are covered with Goldenrod glitter. I also used leftover strip of the Glittered Lacy Background to add more sparkle to the inside of the card.

I added a tiny frame around the oval layers with Sakura Glue Pen and Luau Green glitter. You can never have too much sparkle.

Glittered punched border strip didn't show up from pattern paper very well. So I inked pattern paper with Scattered Straw ink, now you can see it much better.

You can see full instructions of my card in SNS Gallery here. Template is under next photo.

The measurements on the template will work if you use Martha Stewart Doily Lace Border Punch. You may need to re-calculate if you use different punch. Easiest way is to cut your cardstock longer in height, you can trim it shorter later.

Stamp Credits: Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set #665
