I used digi version DIGI768  from the Sing On stamp set #768. This sentiment is a good one to take with you in to the New Year :)

Some parts of the cat (nose, mouth and paws) are colored with Promarkers. Then I took Sakura Glue Pen and scribbled it to his cheeks, belly, paws and tip of the tail and covered the glue with Twinkling Clouds Sparkle N Soft. Then I added glue to the rest of his body and covered it with Elephant Gray Flocking. I also added some Dimensional Glue to his nose and let it dry. This glue dries clear and keeps its dimension.

I had so much fun with making the background. I adhered piece of Super Adhesive Sheets to the thick white cardstock and run it through the die-cutting machine with PoppyStamps Grassland Border die. It cutted only the top layer of the Adhesive Sheet. Then I sketched the tree and cut the top layer with x-acto knife. Now the fun messy part begun: I removed top layer piece by piece and added glitters one by one. First for the grass I used Luau Green glitter. Making sure that green glitter was stuck good, I moved on to the tree. Tree is 'colored' with Bronze Splendor glitter. Biggest part was the sky. First I added little bit of Cloud Nine glitter for the clouds and covered rest of the sticky background with Waterfall glitter. Leaves are punched from leftover Super Adhesive Sheet which was covered with Luau Green glitter. I glued them to the tree separately.

The cat is popped up in front of the scene with foam tape. I pierced two holes to the sentiment piece and tied the white twine to it. I made the sentiment layer to look like a sign which the cat carrying around.

The next stop on our blog hop is Diane
