Have Faith

Then I saw Sparkle N Sprinkle Nasturtium #1 stamp set #782, I knew I want to watercolor in. I used Digi version (DIGI782). Thanks to that I was able to make the image as large as I needed.

Flowers and sentiment was printed to the Watercolor cardstock. All the coloring was done with Distress Inks. I smudged the inks to an acrylic block and used it as a paint palette. Background is colored with Evergreen Bough, Cracked Pistachio and Spun Sugar. Flowers with Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber, and stem with Mowed Lawn Distress Inks. Stamens are covered with Sakura Glue Pen and Aqua Marine Glitter.
Little dots of Dimensional Glue was added around the image. This glue dries clear and holds the shape.

To decorate my cards I made a glittered ribbon from 1/4" and 1/2" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape. Tapes was covered with Bubble Gum Glitter.  wider tape was placed around the watercolored panel. I also made a fake bow from that. Bow tales was made from thinner tape. Center embellishment is from Mon Ami Gabby. It is a big mesh with silver flowers. I colored pars of it with Orange alcohol base marker and added Dimensional Glue on top.

To add some more sparkle to my card I made a striped glitter strip to the edge of the card. I adhered 1/4" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape to a cardstock and cut the protective sheet with x-acto knife. Then I peeled every other strip of protective layer and covered the tape with Aqua Marine Glitter. After the glitter was rubbed in good, I removed rest of the protective layer and covered tape with Bubble Gum Glitter.

Watercolored layer was popped up from the card base with foam tape. But before I did that I adhered a die cut strip, which was made with Die-Versions Loopy Lace die and colored with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink, under the left edge of the panel.
My watercolor panel was the same size as a card base. To make room for the glittered edge I had to cut one side off from the watercolored panel. This leftover piece was adhered to the card base. Can't let anything go waste. Then I draw a line to the both side of this strip with Sakura Glue Pen and added Bubble Gum Glitter on top.

It has been a long time since I made a masculine card. This month Sparkle N Sprinkle revealed many fantastic stampsets which are perfect for that.

I used digi version (DIGI778) from Gone Fishing stamp set.  Image with two fisherman and sentiment are merged and printed out. I die cut it with largest die from Spellbinders Floral Ovals set. After I inked the background with Broken China Distress Ink I covered it with Versamark ink and Super Thick Clear Embossing Powder. Then powder was melted with heating tool I added another coat EP and melted it again. I used the scissors to cut off all the fancy edge to leave only the pierced oval. Fun thing about Super Thick Clear EP is that you can crack it. I did it with mine focal image. Then I rubbed Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the cracks.

To make the card background I used a kraft paper. I spritzed it with water and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Crushed Shells). Then I crinkled it. After the paper was dry I inked the crinkles with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Paper was die cutted it with Spellbinders Pierced Rectangle die. Then I placed it in to the Sizzix embossing folder (Lattice) and run it through the die cutting machine. I used more Vintage Photo Distress Ink to bring out the raised parts of the embossing.

I added a narrow strip of white cardstock and a bit wider cardstock strip which was heat embossed with Blackened Bronze EP to add some more interest to the card background..

I also sprinkled Blackened Bronze EP to the kraft background and melted them with heat tool from underneath the paper. Some White Want 2 Scrap Sleek Strips Pearls was added to embellish the card.

Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape. I added Tiger Orange glitter on top.

To embellish the card I added some white Want 2 Scrap Sleek Strips Pearls. Before adhering them to the card I colored them with Promarker.

Spring Window

Hello my friends! It's time for a new challenge at the Stamping Sensation. This month the theme is super easy. It's Anything Goes with stamped image, sentiment or quote as the focal element.

One very lucky winner will win a £35 voucher to spend in Crafty Individuals store. Crafty Individuals is an exciting web based venture into the creative world of crafts and altered art products and produce an eclectic range of unique and top quality art rubber stamps, cutting dies, masks/stencils and paper craft products.

I was inspired by Spring and lovely Crafty Individuals background papers from Book 5 - Travels in Italy. I stamped Sparkle N Sprinkle Spring Window with Memento Tuxedo Black ink to the white cardstock, colored it with Promarkers and fuzzy cut it with scissors. I adhered Canary Flocking with Sakura Glue Pen to the flowers in the vase. Little butterflies are die cut with Cheery Lynn Designs Mini Dimensional Butterflies dies out of Sticker Paper. I peeled protective sheet and covered butterflies with Sunny Daze Glitter. Window image is popped up with foam tape.

Pattern Paper is from Crafty Individuals Book 5 - Travels in Italy. I used Want 2 Scrap Brick Stencil to dry emboss the pattern to it. Then I inked the bricks with Tea Dye Distress ink. I also added Versamark ink on top and heat embossed bricks with Velvet Sparkle Embossing Powder.

To add even more dimension to the background I adhered Canary Flocking with Sakura Glue Pen to the flower centers.

Pattern Paper is matted to the cardstock which was inked with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Dandi Dandelion Embossing Powder. To embellish my card I used piece of lace and MemoryBox Delicate Vine die cut.

I made a card with an acetate panel on front and lovely flowers from new Nasturtium #2 set in inside.

I used digi version (DIGI783) of the Nasturtium #2 stamp set. It was resized to be as tall as my card and printed to the white cardstock. I colored it with Promarkers. After I adhered flowers to the inside of my card I used the Sakura Glue Pen to draw lines on both side of the image and covered glue with Waterfall Glitter.

Sentiment is also from the digi version (DIGI783) of the Nasturtium #2 stamp set. I inked the sentiment layer with Broken China Distress Ink. After ink was dry I used Versamark ink to stamp the Crackle Background all around the sentiment. I added Opaline Embossing Powder on top of the stamping and heat embossed it.

I cutted the card front shorter to make room for the acetate window. This allows to see the flowers which are inside of the card.

It is a very simple card.

I was the last stop on our blog hop. If you haven't hopped yet, you can start in Diane's blog.
