I used digital version (DIGI797) from the new Deer Duo stamp set #797. Such a cute Christmas image. Well.. you could even use it on an anniversary card... why didn't I think of it sooner... I guess I was in a Christmas card mode...
Image is colored with Promarkers. I added Nuvo Crystal Drops as an accents. Morning Dew was added to their noses, to the heart and the bells. Pearl White was added to her earrings and necklace.
I made an old pattern paper a bit fancier by adding Crystal Ice glitter with Sakura Glue Pen to the hearts. After that I covered glittered hearts with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops.
Holly Sprays are die cutted out of white cardstock. I colored the berries with red marker and added Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops on top. After it was dry, I inked everything with Peeled Paint and Pine Needles Distress Inks. Crystal Drops resist to the ink and result is a pretty green foliage with dimensional red berries.
Edges of the matting layers are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Lator Gator Microfine Glitter. For the circular matting layer I covered piece of white cardstock with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and used a circle die to die cut it out. It is also covered with Lator Gator glitter. Most of the times I use white cardstock for matting layers. I just color the sides of them with marker which match the glitter. This way no white is peeking from the sides.
We hope you enjoy the New Reveal Blog Hop as much as we do. Thanks for joining us and remember to visit and comment on each of the eight Designers' blogs to be eligible for the Grand Prize. (Checked for compliance.)
Wonder who the Mystery Host will be this month????
