Disco Girlfriends

Hi! It's Eret here. Disco Girlfriends #774 was a new stamp set revealed in February. It's so fun. I used digi version (DIGI774) on my today's card.

Image was printed out and colored with Promarkers. I covered their glasses with Dimensional Glue. I love how it dries clear and still keeps its dimension.

The sentiment is enlarged and also printed out next to the groovy girlfriends. This is the reason why I love digis. You can make as big or small as needed.

For the background I used an old pattern paper from my stash. I thought it is perfect with this stamp set. I added Sakura Glue Pen to the yellow circles on the paper and covered them with Daisy Glitter. Then I coverd all the glitter circles with Dimensional Glue

Matting layer are made the same way as I usually I make them. I adhered 1/4" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape to the edges of the layer, remove protective sheets of the tape, place top layer in the center and cover rest of the tape with glitter. This time I used Meadow Spark glitter.

Materials used:
Stamp Credits: Disco Girlfriends #774 digi version DIGI774;
Glitters: Meadow Spark (G1014), Daisy (GM2019);
Coloring Medium: Promarkers;
Adhesives: 1/4" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape (SAT01), Dimensional Glue (539), Sakura Glue Pen, Foam Tape;
Cardstock: White;
All others: Pattern Paper;

Thank you for the visit!

Secret Garden Butterflies

Here's a card which was very fun to make. I played with digi version from new Secret Garden stamp set, inks and some embossing powders.
Background behind the butterflies is cut with Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles die. I adhered drywall tape (I cut some holes to it before) on top of paper and inked it with Distress Inks (Moved Lawn, Evergreen Bough, Salty Ocean). Drywall tape act as a mask. After removing tape I inked the edges of the paper with Fossilized Amber Distress Ink.

Butterflies are cut with MemoryBox Vivienne Butterfly die. I inked them with Versamark ink and heat embossed butterflies wings with Bahama Mama EP and their bodies with Skylight EP. I added a pink rhinestones to their bodies as well.

I printed three copies of the key images from Secret Garden digital set. I used Promarkers to color them and cut out the key from one of the images. This key was covered with Dimensional Glue. Two of the images was placed behind the butterflies panel. Key was adhered on top of it.

I drew the frame with Sakura Glue Pen to the butterflies panel and covered it with Sunny Daze glitter. I also sprinkled some Super Thick White EP to this layer and heated from underneath the paper to melt the powder.

Background layer looks beautiful and it's super easy to make. I just inked the cardstock with Versamark and Heat embossed with Bahama Mama EP.

Shake the Numbers

Hi! Today I want to share a simple and fun shaker card.
I used digi version from new Disco Girlfriends stamp set. I made the sentiment bigger and printed it out to the white cardstock. I inked all around the sentiment with Broken China Distress ink.

Inside the shaker are micro bead, flower sequins and glittered numbers. Numbers are die cut with MemoryBox Classic Numbers dies out of Sticker Paper. I covered the numbers with three different glitters: Easy Green, Cherry Lemonade and Pinkerbell. For the window I used piece of Embossable Clear Acetate.

Journal Mixed Media stamp set was used to stamp the circles with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Firefly embossing powder.

Flowers are also digis from the Disco Girlfriends stamp set. I changed the color to three different shades of purple and printed them in two sizes. With Sakura Glue Pen I added  Lavender Iris glitter to most flowers.  Flowers without glitter was glued to the inside of the shaker window. Rest of the flowers was adhered to the window frame. I also added pieces from Mon Ami Gabby small and large Pearl Mesh  to the center of flowers.

Frame is die cut out of green cardstock with Spellbinders Pierced Rectangles dies.

I made a window card with some stamped butterflies and roses. Butterflies are from an old Hero Arts and Sizzix stamps and die set named Butterflies #3. I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Promarkers and die cut with matching dies from the set.

Edge of the card front is made with Spellbinders dies. I used one small butterfly as a lock to keep the card closed.

Roses are made with Spellbinders Rose Creations dies. They are colored with Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber Distress Inks. I also stamped some music notes to the flowers petals.

Inside of the card is clean and simple.

I like how the sentiment is seen through the window and behind the foliage.

I used digi version from Secret Garden stamp set on my card. I placed the sentiment underneath the bird and printed them out. I also printed a second copy of the bird. Images are colored with Promarkers. Bird and the sentiment are die cut with Spellbinders Pierced Rectangles die. Little dash lines between the pierced holes are drawn with regular black pen. Back side of the layer is inked with Evergreen Bough Distress Ink. Second copy of the bird is popped up with foam tape.

Flower is made with Spellbinders Hydrangea die. Piece of white paper was colored with marker before die cutting little flowers. Flower centers are made with Dimensional Glue and Daisy glitter. For the leaves I used Spellbinders Sprigs die and Sticker Paper. I covered them with Luau Green glitter.

Background is made from white cardstock. I sprinkled some Ultramarine Blue Color Burst to the paper and spritzed it with water. I love this color. To make it little more shimmering I also spritzed it with Perfect Pearls Mist. After everything was dry I dry embossed it, right side down, with an old Cuttlebug embossing folder. I scribbled debossed flowers with black pen.

Edges of the black matting layer was covered with 1/4" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape and Black Suede glitter. It's adhered to the card base with foam tape.

The next stop on our blog hop is very talented Diane. Enjoy!
