I decided to share Today a colorful and sparkly spring card made with Birdhouse Friends Digital Set. I used pre-colored image from the set and printed it out three times. Houses are fussy cut with scissors and adhered with foam tape to the full image.
I added lots of sparkle with Glitters and Glitter Drops: Eggs, butterfly and bird beaks are covered with White Blizzard, roof of the pink house, heart on the grey house and ladybug are covered with Pink Champagne and flower centers with Orange Soda Nuvo Glitter Drops. All glitters are adhered with Sakura Glue PenCabernet Glitter to grey house, Lemonade to the flowers and Easy Green to the leaves and grass.

Sentiment is from same Birdhouse Friends Digital Set. After printing it out in the size I needed it to be, I colored inside of the words with yellow marker. I found an old wooden mini frame and covered it with Stampendous Embossing Ink and heat embossed with Bahama Mama Embossing Powder. I repeated steps with ink and EP few times until I got nice thick coverage.

And now comes a little tip. If you don't have suitable patter paper, make it yourself by largening pre-golored digi image and cover everything with glitter. That's what I did. I made the image very large and cut it a bit smaller then my card base was. Then I added 3/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to the left side and 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to the right side of the big image. I left the cap in between tapes on purpose. There was no point to waist lovely glitters to the space that is not going to be visible. After removing protective sheets from the tapes, I did some coloring with Semi-Transparent glitters: With small spoon I added Sunny Daze Glitter to the flowers, Aqua Marine Glitter to the leaves and grass. Waterfall Glitter was added to the rest of the tape.

Edges of the matting layers are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Cabernet  Microfine Glitter. Some dots of Nuvo Glitter Drops (Orange SodaPink Champagne) was added around the image panel and sentiment.

I was the last stop on the hop. I hope you had lots of fun. If you started the hop from the middle, you should go to the beginning, to Belinda's blog, and continue as long as you have seen all projects. Don't forget you must leave a comment on each of the Designers' blogs in order to be selected as the winner.

Winter Bird House

Hi! Here is one older card I haven't shared with you before. I used two Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp sets on it: Winter Bird House #803, Flourishes 2 #520.

I stamped the Winter Bird House with Memento Tuxedo Black ink to the white cardstock and colored it with Promarkers. After coloring I used Spellbinders die from Radiant Rectangle set to cut it out and before removing paper from the die I inked it with Broken China Distress ink.
I added glue with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen to birds earmuffs and a hat tuft and covered them with Twinkling Clouds Flocking. Snow and snowflakes are covered with same glue but I used Olaf White glitter from Frozen Glitter Set instead of Flocking. Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen was also used to draw a frame to a die cut piece. Glue was covered with Denim Microfine Glitter. Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops was applied to the icicles, bird feeder and the snowballs.

To make the background paper I stamped the biggest flourish from Flourishes #2 stamp set to the white cardstock with  Versamark ink and heat embossed them with Quick Silver Embossing Powder. Then I smudged different Distress Inks (Vintage Photo, Tea Dye, Fired Brick) to the craft mat, spritzed them with water, placed the cardstock to the wet ink, dried the CS and placed it to the ink again. After everything was dry, I sprinkled some Magic Speckle EP on top and heat set from underneath the cardstock. As a final touch I took the Gold Gel Pen and draw some lines near the flourishes.

Bottom edge and the notch on the top of the background was die cutted with Spellbinders die (A2 Scalloped Borders One). Layer underneath it was inked with Scattered Straw Distress ink. I applied Versamark ink on top and heat embossed with Sparkle Embossing Powder.

A bit of greenery is die cutted out of Sticker Paper with MemoryBox die (Flowering Christmas Tree). I covered it with Meadow Spark Glitter.

For the matting layer I took a piece of cardstock and adhered 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape all around the edges and covered it with Denim Microfine Glitter.

Materials used:
Stamp Credits: Winter Bird House 803, Flourishes #2 520;
Glitters: Olaf White [G1121] from Frozen Glitter Set, Meadow Spark [G1014], Denim [GM2033];

Holly Jolly Christmas

It's never too early for Christmas cards! On this card I used adorable Elf Sitter digi stamp set.
I love Sparkle N Sprinkle digis because they come with black and white outline image and also with colored image. I took an easy way and used pre-colored digi on my card. Only thing I did was adding some 'fur' here and there with Sakura Glue Pen and Cherry Sparkle Flocking. Bells was covered with Limonello Nuvo Jewel Drops. I fussy cut the Elf with scissors but digi set also includes cut files, so you can use your digital cutting machine if you have one :)

Sentiment is from same digital stamp set. I printed it directly to the pattern paper. I had only small piece of this paper so I had to make sure that sentiment will come to right place in first try. For that I opened a Word document, draw a rectangle shape as large as my pattern paper was, placed the sentiment where I wanted and printed all out to a regular printing paper. Then I adhered my pattern paper on top of the printed rectangle with removable tape, placed the sheet back to printer, deleted rectangle shape from the screen and printed the sentiment out again. And here it is... Edges of the pattern paper was inked with Broken China Distress ink.

For the snowbanks I adhered 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to the white cardstock and covered the tape with Cloud Nine Microfine Glitter. I used scissors to cut them in suitable shape. More sparkle was added with Dimensional Glue and Olaf White Glitter from Frozen Glitter Set

For the background I used another piece of pattern paper. I stamped snowflakes from older SNS Stamp Set named Snow One Like You with Versamark ink all over the paper. They are heat embossed with Opaline Embossing Powder. I inked the edges with Broken China Distress ink and added Nuvo Glitter Drops (White Blizzard) in center of snowflakes and few more places.
I love to make glittery matting layers. For that I cover edges of the paper with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape, adhere pattern paper in center and cover rest of the tape with glitter. This time I used Blue Haze Microfine Glitter.

Trees are cut with dies from Leane Creatief Pine Tree set. They are cut out from watercolor cardstock which was colored with Nuance Powder (Jade) and Distress Inks (Peeled Paint, Pine Needles and Vintage Photo for tree stumps). I added some snow to the trees with Dimensional Glue and Olaf White from Frozen Glitter Set.

Dream Catcher

Hi! Today I have a card made with  Dream Catcher Maiden Stamp Set #865 by Sparkle N Sprinkle
Image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Promarkers. But if you don't like or don't have time to color, you can use a digi set which comes with outline and pre-colored images. I added lots of sparkle to the image with help of the Sakura Glue PenOrchidOrange CrushAqua Marine and Sunny Daze Glitters was added to the feathers and round beads. Strings of the dream catcher are covered with Sterling Microfine Glitter. To make the round beads dimensional, I covered them with Sea Breeze Nuvo Jewel Drops.
For the matting layer I covered piece of cardstock with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape used Spellbinders Circle die to die cut the shape. Same die was used as a template to draw a circle around the image. After fussy cutting it out, I adhered it to the center of the matting layer. Rest of the tape was covered with Cabernet  Microfine Glitter.

I adhered 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to another piece of cardstock and covered it with Cloud Nine Microfine Glitter. I die cutted five clouds out of it. To the biggest cloud I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Tinsel Embossing Powder. Edges of the clouds was inked with Broken China Distress Ink.

Decorative silver layer behind the image is die cutted with Round Lilly set by Nellie Snellen out of cardstock which was covered with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Sterling Microfine Glitter. Easier option is to use Sticker Paper, but I like to use things I have a lot, and there is plenty of tape on that roll.

For the background I used pattern paper with colorful feathers. Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Cabernet Microfine Glitter. Some more dots of  Sea Breeze Nuvo Jewel Drops was added for finishing touches.

Autumn Berry Wreath

Hi! Today I want to showcase a card made with Sparkle N Sprinkle Autumn Berry Wreath Stamp Set.
Wreath is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Promarkers. I used craft knife to cut it out. To make it easier for me I left narrow white border of paper all around the image. Some sparkle was added to the leaves with Sakura Glue Pen and Easy Green Glitter. Berries are covered with Nuvo Jewel Drops (Rosewater).

Sentiment is from same Autumn Berry Wreath Stamp Set. It's stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Cherry Embossing Powder.

I am trying very hard to use up my old pattern paper packs. It's hard because they are pretty and I'd like to keep them forever... Luckily this Berry Wreath is so gorgeous and it deserves to be on top of some lovely papers. I used papers from DoveCraft (Bohemian) and  Prima (Fairy Belle). Edges of the papers are inked with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
Layers underneath the pattern papers are my usual - matting layer edges are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape, pattern paper is adhered  in center and rest of the tape is covered with glitter. On this card I used Dazzling Rose Glitter.

This card was busy enough so I didn't add many embellishments. Only yellow sheer ribbon and double loop bow.
Btw... The deer in the middle of wreath is fussy cut from patter paper and partially popped up with foam tape.

Materials used:

And now a bit about my card. Then I saw the Basket of Hope Stamp Set, I knew I have to have this. I love realistic looking stamps and I have waited a long time to make an Autumn card with inlay die cut leaf background. Basket of Hope was perfect for this.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Promarkers. It's cut out with craft knife and scissors. I covered berries and jar with Nuvo Jewel Drops (Orange Marmalade for jar and Strawberry Coulis on berries). For the matting layer I adhered 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to piece of cardstock and used die from Nellie Snellen Photo Frames set to cut it out. After adhering image layer to center I covered rest of the tape with Bronze Splendor Glitter.

For the background I took a piece of White cardstock and inked it with Distress Inks (Old Paper, Fossilized Amber and Tea Dye). Some droplets of water was also sprinkled on top of the inking.
I used Creative Expressions Autumn Leaf Trio die set to cut six shaped windows to it. In this set has three detailed and three matching silhouette dies, so I used them all to cut all the windows in one pass.

I inked the edges of one of previously cut silhouette leaf with Tea Dye ink and used Versamark ink to stamp the sentiment to the center. It's heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder.

Piece of Acetate was adhered underneath the inked layer. On top of the windows I die cutted two sets of detailed leaves and adhered them to the Acetate. Some veins was drawn with yellow marker to the back side of the Acetate. You can barely see the color but it gives nice effect.
Most bottom layer is covered with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. To the edges I applied  Bronze Splendor Glitter and rest of the tape was covered with Microfine Glitter. Inked panel is adhered on top of it with Foam Tape.

Frame is cut with paper trimmer. Some Orange Marmalade Nuvo Jewel Drops was added to finish off my card.

My blog was last stop on the SNS Blog Hop. But if started from the middle You should go to Shona's blog to follow the full Hop :) I hope you enjoy(ed) it!

Nice Normal Family

Hi! Today I want to share a simple and fun card made with Sparkle N Sprinkle Chicken Run Stamp Set #761 and Stampendous stamp named Whiskers

For a start I smudged some Distress Inks (Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Hickory Smoke) to the craft mat, spritzed them with water and placed piece of watercolor cardstock in to it. I dried the CS and placed back to the ink. After I was happy with the background and it was totally dry, I took the Whiskers  stamp, inked it with Versamark ink and stamped the image on top of the background. Image was heat embossed with Coffee Embossing Powder. I added some shading to the cats with same Distress inks and watercolor brush. Darker shadows was colored with Gray marker. Background of the cats is colored with Mother of Pearl Nuvo Embellishment Mousse and waterbrush.
Cats eyes are colored with White Gel Pen and Citrus Green Embellishment Mousse

Cats eyeballs needed a bit more so I covered them with Apple Sour Nuvo Glow Drops. Because I didn't want their eyes to be dimensional, I added Glow Drops with small paintbrush. Nuvo Glow Drops makes their eyes to glow in the dark. Of course the glow would had been more intense If I had added bigger drops, but it is cool like this too. After Glow Drops was dried, I draw a little dot back in center of their eyeballs with Black marker.

Sentiment is from Chicken Run stamp set. Love how well it goes together with Whiskers stamp. Sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink to the Black Cardstock and it's heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder. Pattern on some of the cats was covered with Dimensional Glue and Elephant Flocking.

Edges of the matting layer behind the cats are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Black Ice Glitter. Edges of the card base are covered with 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. Half of the tape is covered with Sterling Microfine Glitter and rest is covered with Elephant Flocking.
