I used Happy Flowers Digi Bundle for my Reveal card. The set includes lots of differently colored images, sentiments, decoupage sheets and digi papers.

This lovely yellow flower is one of the pre-colored images from the digi bundle. I printed two copies of them. One was cut with narrow white border all around. From second image I needed only flower petals. They are fussy cut without any border. I added some Daisy Microfine Glitter to the petals with Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen. Fussy cut petals are adhered with glue (from the bottom) and foam tape to flower image with in an angel.

Sentiment is from the same digi bundle. I used a die from Spellbinders Floral ovals set as a template and draw an oval around the sentiment and cut it out with scissors. This way it will mach perfectly with the matting layer. A bit of Broken China Distress Inks was added to the edges.
To make the matting layer I covered piece of white cardstock with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and die cutted it with Floral Oval die. I adhered sentiment to the center and covered rest with Daisy and Purple Rain Glitters.

I used purple pre-colored flowers from the bundle to make my own pattern paper. I just placed bunch of flowers in different angle on top of the to light blue background. After printing it out I added Semi-Transparent  Orchid glitter with Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen to the flowers.
Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. To the top and left side of the layer I added Daisy glitter and bottom and left side are covered with Purple Rain Glitter.

To make the background a bit more interesting I added a piece of embossed vellum on top of it.

As an embellishments I used lace, pearl string and few dots of Pale Perriwinkle Nuvo Jewel Drops.

The next stop on our blog hop is Shona with her amazing card.

  2. I wondered how you did that background and now I see that you have used embossed vellum. Fantastic design idea! I keep on forgetting about my vellum! (but actually, I did use turquoise vellum in my mermaid card for the seaweed - does that count? LOL) Eret, I love this design. Your creations are always unique and melt-my-heart lovely, and this pretty purple-and-yellow creation is a beautiful masterpiece. Thanks for explaining how you created it! hugs, de

  7. So pretty. I love purple and yellow together, and these flowers are stunning. I love the vellum in the bottom corner too - that really changes the entire look of the card. Your glitters on the flowers are perfect. Everything about this makes me happy.
