~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For the Reveal Blog Hop, I made a shaker card with Whispers of Comfort - Hydrangea Stamp Set. I started with making the card base by cutting two same size shapes from white cardstock with Jasmine Sunset Tonic Layering Dies. One of them was scored 1,5 cm from the top. I added glue above the score line and adhered two shapes together.
A must have tool for the technique I used, is the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform. I stamped the image with Jet Black StazOn to the Embossable Acetate. While keeping the acetate in the corner of the Platform, I removed the stamp from the lid and placed the sentiment stamp to the acetate right side down. I closed the lid of the Platform to pic up the stamp and made sure that the sentiment is straight. Then I removed the acetate from the Platform and stamped the sentiment to the scrap piece of paper. I placed the stamped acetate back to the Platform and used the sentiment underneath as a guide to see where the image covers the sentiment. With alcohol base Blender Marker, I started to erase part of the flower. After this was done, I stamped the sentiment to the acetate with Jet Black StazOn.
I moved on to the fun part - coloring with glitters. Glitter coloring is done on the back side of the Acetate. I applied Brushable Glue with small paint brush to the Butterfly and flower centers and covered it with Butterscotch Microfine Glitter. Then I moved on to the leaves. First I applied glue to the darkest parts of the leaves and covered it with Shamrock Microfine Glitter. Gecko Microfine Glitter was adhered to the rest of the leaves. Flowers are colored with Caspia Sea and Ocean Breeze Microfine Glitters.
Watch the Demo Donna's Hydrangea Thank You February Stamp Kit Video to see how the glitter coloring is done.
To make my shaker card, I stamped the image to the middle of the pattern paper. Then I cut it out with x-acto knife from the inside of the frame. The stamped frame is covered with Sakura Glue Pen and Butterscotch Microfine Glitter. To make the layer match with the card base, I used the same die from Jasmine Sunset Set. But instead of die-cutting, I traced the inner border to the pattern paper and cut it out with scissors.
I adhered the stamped Acetate layer behind the pattern paper frame. Another piece of pattern paper was used as a background for the shaker element. I adhered few sequins to the background and added Bronze Glass Glitter and more sequins from my stash inside of the shaker window.
Did you knew that Sparkle N Sprinkle carries sequins? Go, take a look. They are gorgeous.
I didn't want to take a shine away from this lovely Hydrangea image, so I didn't add many embellishments. Just a piece of lace and light blue bling strip. Those diamond like elements are actually empty. I added Pale Periwinkle Nuvo Jewel Drops to fill them.
Whispers of Comfort - Hydrangea is a really gorgeous Stamp Set to have. I had so much fun playing with it on the Acetate and to color it with Microfine Glitters. I hope you try it out and share your masterpiece with us in Facebook Sparkle N Sprinkle Creative Challenge Group
Anniversary Wishes
I hope you had a chance to play with Sparkle N Sprinkle January 2018 Video Club Kit. Here is my version of this card.
Materials used:
Roses in My Heart Stamp Set 879;
Orchid Glitter [G1097]
Royal Purple Glass Glitter [GG14c];
Silver Detail Embossing Powder [EP257]
Clear Embossing Powder [EP120]
Deep Sea Dive Tonic Craft Perfect Embossed Paper
Chrome Silver Tonic Craft Perfect Mirror Card
Versamark ink
Memento ink (Tuxedo Black), VersaFine ink (Onyx Black)
Promarkers, Metallic Marker
I stamped the image from Roses in My Heart Rubber Set to the white cardstock two times with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. On one of them, I coloured only the flowers and fuzzy cut them out. On the second image, I coloured everything (although I didn't do any colour blending on flowers). I fuzzy cut the image by leaving white border all around. Fussy cut flowers ware adhered to the other image with foam tape. I did add some Orchid Glitter to them with Sakura Glue Pen
I used Deep Sea Dive Tonic Craft Perfect Embossed Paper for the background. I cut the rough heart shape out of it and spread Moonstone Nuvo Glimmer Paste on top. While the Paste was still wet, I sprinkled Royal Purple Glass Glitter to the paste and pressed it in slightly.
I adhered stamped image on top of the Embossed Paper with Foam Tape and then cut off the excess paper which peeked from sides.
Matting layer was cut from
Chrome Silver Tonic Craft Perfect Mirror Card. Because I don't have any big heart dies, I drew a freehand heart template, traced the shape to the back side of the Mirror Card and fuzzy cut it out.
I also used the same template to cut my card base. I used Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the image inside of the card. First I placed acetate sheet in the corner of the Stamp Platform. Then I stamped the image to the acetate (with Memento ink because it is easy to clean it off from the acetate). Then I kept the acetate in place and slipped my card base underneath it. This allowed me to see where exactly I want the stamped image is going to be. I placed the magnet on the card to keep it in place. Then I removed the acetate and stamped the image to the card with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Silver Detail Embossing Powder
The image is coloured with Promarkers. I adhered Orchid Glitter with Sakura Glue Pen to the edge of the scalloped heart. Everything which was outside of the image was coloured with blue metallic marker.
The sentiment was stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine ink. While the ink was still wet, I covered it with Clear Embossing Powder and heat emboss with heat tool. I fuzzy cut the sentiment and adhered it to the Deep Sea Dive Paper, which was adhered to the Chrome Silver Mirror Card. This stack was adhered to the inside of the card to act as an easel stopper.
Here is one more look at my heart shaped easel card. I'm very happy how it turned out.
Missing You
Hi! I hope you enjoyed the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog Hop on Monday. Today I want to share a card made with Digital Stamp Set Hello Foxy 882Digi.
Supply list:
Hello Foxy Digital Stamp Set 882Digi
24kt Gold Microfine Glitter GM2038
Super Thick Gold Embossing Powder EP235
Grassy Green Flock FL103
Pewter Slates Tonic Craft Perfect Embossed Paper
Medium Nuvo Glue Pen
Hickory Smoke Distress Ink, Tuxedo Black Memento Dual Marker
Dies from Spellbinders (Classic Circles Large) and PoppyStamps (Grassland Border)
Promarkers
White and Green Cardstocks
Wooden Stars
I used one of the adorable stamps from Hello Foxy Digital Stamp Set. It's printed on the white cardstock and coloured with Promarkers. I fussy cut him out and run the sides Tuxedo Black Memento Dual Marker. This hid all the white peeking from the sides and makes it look like I'm really good with scissors :)
For the background, I used Pewter Slates Tonic Craft Perfect Embossed Paper. I sprinkled Super Thick Gold Embossing Powder over the paper and heat embossed it from underneath. I brushed Indian Gold Nuvo Embellishment Mousse to the edges, to bring out the texture of the paper even more.
Here are few photos of how I made the moon. First I drew a circle by tracing the outer edge of the Circle Die to the white cardstock. Then I used a Blender Brush to cover the circle with Mother of Pearl and Indian Gold Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. I used the same circle die to die cut the moon out.
I drew the same size circle on my computer, placed the sentiment in the centre and printed it to the thin copy paper. Then I adhered my moon on top of the printed circle with temporary adhesive, placed the copy paper back to the printer, removed the circle in the computer (and left the sentiment in the same place) and printed it again. I ended up with a sentiment which was in the centre of the moon.
I inked the edges of the moon with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. I applied more ink to the bottom left edge.
I wanted the moon to be in the same level with the background, so I die cut the same size circle window to the background paper and inlaid the moon to its place. Edges of their meeting points are covered with Sakura Glue Pen and 24kt Gold Microfine Glitter.
And then I realised, I don't like the black text on my moon. I took the Sakura Glue Pen and covered the words with it. Then I applied 24kt Gold Microfine Glitter on top and I was happy :)
The grass is die cut with PoppyStamps Grassland Border out of green cardstock. I cut three layers of it and brushed some Indian Gold Mousse to the fringe parts, to make it look like the moon is reflecting from the grass.
To add the texture to the ground, I applied some glue here and there with Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen and adhered Grassy Green Flock on top.
Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. After adhering background layer to the centre of it, I covered rest of the tape with 24kt Gold Microfine Glitter.
To finish off my card, I adhered two wooden stars, which ware coloured with Indian Gold Mousse.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And now to my card. I made a pocket card with stamps from the Cherished Moments - Bride 875 Stamp Set.

Materials used:
SNS GlittersFascination [G1030], Cloud Nine [GM2000], Peruvian Lily [GM2014);
SNS Embossing PowdersSatin Velvet [EP209];
InksVersamark, Distress Ink (Tattered Rose);
Dies: Spellbinders (Radiant Rectangles);
Coloring Medium: Promarkers;
AdhesivesSakura Glue Pen, SNS Sticker Paper [99558], SNS 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape [SAT04];
Cardstock: White, Vellum, Tonic Craft Perfect Mirror Card (Burnished Rose);
EmbellishmentsNuvo Crystal Drops (Morning Dew);
Others: Lace, Corner Rounder, CraftConsept Embossing Folder (Budding Vines);

On the card front I used Glitter Lace Background technique: First I lad lace on top of the Sticker Paper. After making sure that the lace is laid down well, I poured Cloud Nine Microfine glitter on top and rubbed it on to the Sticker Paper well. I brushed off excess glitter and removed the lace. Rest of the sticky parts was covered with  Peruvian Lily Microfine Glitter.
For the matting layer, I used Burnished Rose Tonic Craft Perfect Mirror Card.
Did you know that it is possible to heat emboss on top of the Microfine Glitters? Here is a proof! I used Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, but you can do it without it as well. I placed the flower image towards the bottom, closed the lid of the Stamp Platform, inked the stamp with Versamark ink and stamped it once to the glittered background. Then I rotated the background upside down and repeated the stamping. I covered images with Satin Velvet Embossing Powder on and heat set it with a heat tool. The sentiment was stamped with same ink in between the images. It was also heat embossed with Satin Velvet Embossing Powder.
All the edges of this layer was covered with Sakura Glue Pen and Peruvian Lily Microfine Glitter

I ended up with one image being upside down. It was totally ok because I wanted to cut it out anyway. Actually, I planned to cut them both in the way that only dotted circles will stay. But after cutting the first one, I decided to pop it up with foam tape to the second image. I covered the flowers with Nuvo Crystal Drops (Morning Dew)

I stamped the same image on the vellum with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Satin Velvet Embossing Powder. I coloured the flowers and leaves from the back side of the Vellum. To the front side, I adhered a bit of Fascination Glitter with Sakura Glue Pen. This Vellum piece has adhered behind the circle window. The Burnished Rose Tonic Craft Perfect Mirror Card, which was used as a matting layer, is peeking through the Vellum.

I decorated the inside of the card as well. Left side is covered with a piece of Burnished Rose Mirror Card. A bottom of it is embossed with an embossing folder. 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape has adhered across the layer and it was covered with Cloud Nine Microfine Glitter.
For the sentiment layer, I cut a decorative oval with a die from Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles set. I added some colour to it with Tattered Rose Distress Ink. It was inked while the paper was still inside of the die.
The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. And again, I stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Satin Velvet Embossing Powder. To finish off this layer, I  drew an oval near the edge with Sakura Glue Pen and covered it with Peruvian Lily Microfine Glitter.
I made a pocket on the right side to hold a gift card.

I'm the last stop on the SNS Blog Hop. If you joined in from the middle, please go to beginning, to Belindablog, to see and comment all the wonderful projects you have missed.

Thank you for the visit!

Yellow Roses

Today I want to share a card made with new Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp and Microfine Glitters and Tonic Layering Dies.

Supply list:
Roses in My Heart 879 Stamp Set
Shamrock Microfine Glitter [GM2041]
Butterscotch Microfine Glitter [GM2051]
Promarkers, White Cardstock, Foam Tape

I started by die cutting White Cardstock with third largest die from Jasmine Sunset Tonic Layering Dies. This is large die, so you need an A4+ Die-Cut Machine for it. I scored the cardstock from the middle and folded it in half to form a card base.

I continued to die cut all the layers. For the first layer, I used third and fourth dies. The second layer is cut with the fifth and sixth die. The third layer is made with seventh and eight die. And for the fourth layer, I used ninth die.
I used a stiff brush to colour second and fourth layer with Citrus Green Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. To the back side of the first, second and third layer I adhered the 3/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape in the way that it will cover all the holes.
From the right side of the layers, I covered the Tear-ific Tape through the holes with Microfine Glitters. On the first and third layer, I added Shamrock Glitter. To the second layer, I added Butterscotch Glitter. To the second layer, I also added dots of White Nuvo Crystal Drops.

To make my flower cluster, I inked the flower from the Roses in My Heart Stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamped it three times. Images are coloured with Promarkers. From one image I fussy cut only the flowers. Rest of the two images ware cut out with a narrow white border all around and one of them was cut into pieces. Thanks to all those pieces, I could build my dimensional flower cluster.
I added some sparkle to the roses with Sakura Glue Pen and Butterscotch Microfine Glitter.

Please come back in a day and a half. SNS Design Team will have a Blog Hop on the 14th January at 9 PM Eastern time. Inspiration is guaranteed and you can also win a prize. You don't want to miss it!

Thank you for the visit!
